Job Title: Project Coordinator - Cabinet Distributor
Position Overview: As a Project Coordinator for our cabinet distribution company, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the successful execution of cabinetry projects from inception to completion. Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams, you will oversee project timelines, manage resources, and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality cabinet solutions. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including task assignments, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, procurement, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of cabinet materials and components.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and any deviations from the original plan.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and change requests promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource Coordination and Allocation:
- Liaise with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors to procure cabinet materials, hardware, and accessories according to project specifications and budget constraints.
- Coordinate the scheduling and deployment of installation teams, ensuring availability of skilled labor and necessary equipment to meet project deadlines.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Conduct thorough inspections of cabinet materials and components upon receipt to verify quality standards and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor installation progress and conduct on-site visits as needed to ensure adherence to industry best practices, safety regulations, and customer expectations.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and correspondence with clients and stakeholders.
- Generate regular progress reports, status updates, and post-project evaluations to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in the construction, remodeling, or interior design industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Asana, for task scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of cabinetry products, materials, and installation methods is advantageous.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This position operates primarily in an office environment, with occasional site visits to client locations, construction sites, or vendor facilities.
- Flexibility in work schedule may be required to accommodate project deadlines, client meetings, and occasional evening or weekend work.
- Physical demands may include lifting and carrying sample materials, standing for extended periods, and navigating construction sites or commercial buildings.
