As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the program management team by organizing and controlling project activities under the direction of the Program Manager. The role involves maintaining schedules, tracking progress, preparing project reports, and coordinating between various internal and external stakeholders. The Project Coordinator III will be involved in coordinating deliverables to ensure compliance with U.S. government requirements and ensuring timely communication of project statuses.
*This position will allow limited partial remote work.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day coordination of project activities across functional teams.
- Maintain detailed project schedules and track milestones.
- Prepare reports for program reviews and status meetings.
- Ensure project documentation is properly stored and updated.
- Assist in compliance with government policies, procedures, and DFAR/ITAR regulations.
- Facilitate coordination between contractors, subcontractors, and government
stakeholders. - Participate in risk management activities by documenting and escalating potential issues.
- Keep schedules accurate and with well-defined deliverables
- resource project hardware and software needs to meet all commitments and team needs, e.g. staffing, supplies, licenses, hardware, etc
Qualifications:
- Mission First Mindset
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in a government contracting
environment. - Experience with scheduling and project management tools such as MS Project or Jira
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to acquire SCI
- Attitude of team success before self
- A drive for excellence and quality
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially SAFe, is preferred.
