Exciting Opportunity: Immediate Hire for Project Coordinator!
Openwork is currently assisting Harris County in their search for a skilled Project Coordinator. This role is key to supporting DR Buyout operations by coordinating administrative functions, resources, and information essential to program goals. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on project-related inquiries, vendor contract management, and handle any contract issues with vendors.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control for invoice submissions related to the DR Buyout as required.
- Maintain consistent communication with internal and external contacts to gather necessary information, resolve issues, and assist with information requests for the DR Buyout Program.
- Attend meetings as requested by the director or director’s staff.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide resolutions
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field OR a minimum of four (4) years of accounting, finance, or grant experience.
- Familiarity with grant requirements, specifically 2 CFR 200 and HUD CDBG-DR regulations.
- Experience with Buyout programs and vendor management.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $26.78 per hour
