About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. This role primarily involves organizing and tracking work tasks for the Security Architecture team. The position requires a strong ability to collaborate with various teams and vendors, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review vendor redlines and edits to cloud terms, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with vendors during contract negotiations to resolve disputes and ensure favorable terms.
- Work closely with legal, procurement, and security teams to analyze contract changes and align them with policies.
- Ensure that cloud service agreements meet security requirements such as data ownership, incident response, and business continuity.
- Maintain documentation of negotiation outcomes and decisions for future reference.
- Monitor and report on vendor compliance with agreed-upon security obligations.
- Stay informed on relevant security regulations, guidelines, and emerging cloud security trends.

- Experience with all Microsoft O365 tools - Required (3 Years)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Required
- Attention to detail, scheduling, and time management - Required
- Technical experience/expertise - Required
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Required
- Project management experience - Highly desired (5 Years)
- Experience with reviewing and negotiating security clauses in contracts, especially around data privacy, confidentiality, and service level agreements.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential security risks or gaps in contract language.
Work Arrangement and Requirements
This is a hybrid role with the majority of work being remote. However, candidates will be required to attend monthly meetings onsite in Richmond and as needed/requested by the Manager. Equipment must be picked up in person. Offers are contingent upon passing a national criminal background check and a separate check conducted through the Capital Police. Candidates must be able to be hired directly by the agency without sponsorship.
