Intertek is searching for a Project Coordinator to join our Electricalteam in our Skaneateles Falls, NY office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Client Services!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for management of Engineering Staff Schedules, calculating KPIs, and overseeing equipment calibrations. This particular lab is a unique, new 9,000 square foot Intertek laboratory providing full service EMC, Medical Safety, Performance, auditory / sound, cycle testing, vibration testing, and more. Located in central New York, this lab is situated on a beautiful campus and offers a catered cafeteria with subsidized meals, Starbucks, onsite fitness center ($20/month, open 5am-8pm), rotating fitness classes, locker room, showers, and dry cleaning pick-up service all accessible to Intertek employees.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to the Lab Manager.
SALARY & BENEFITS INFORMATION
The base wage or salary range for this position is $28.00/hr - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

- Project Manage all active orders.
- Qualifying Order Requests and facilitating order registration using established internal procedures.
- Confirming project details (start, completion dates, scope, sample & location) with project managers upon receiving approved requests.
- Scheduling of projects and notifying project managers of completion dates.
- Report budget and KPI data monthly.
- Schedule calibrations and maintain the calibration database.
- Log test samples and maintain the sample tracking database.
- Manage and present quality information to auditors.
- Typing and distributing various meeting minutes.
- Basic shipping and receiving functions.
- Providing administrative report for report revisions.
- Participating in the development and implementation of business goals and objectives.
- Perform other work as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree, or equivalent, with 1-2 years direct customer operations experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.
- Oracle and web-based computer program experience desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively interface with staff and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment is essential.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have proactive and positive attitude.
