About the Job
Copper River Infrastructure is seeking a Construction Administrator/Project Assistant to join our construction infrastructure team to assist with managing various types of construction projects out of the Panama City/Tyndall AFB, Fla area.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
- Acts as a liaison and coordinates administrative activities between field management, other departments, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and other parties including regulatory and government agencies.
- Manage client communications for multiple simultaneous projects
- Establishes and maintains basic project control logs.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current and properly filed
- Prepare, submit, document, and track submittals, RFIs, and O&M Manuals.
- Assists payroll department with data entry and reporting.
- Maintain, track and verify subcontractor compliance with certified payroll, and submit to Gov't as required
- Own budget reconciliation for preconstruction and construction items
- Assist program and project managers to ensure assigned projects maintain budget and schedule.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, communicate progress, and develop solutions to meet project goals
- Communicate and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Ensures strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements throughout the company.
- Manage and maintain document control processing for all document changes, addenda, ASIs, CCD, and other client directives.
- Distributes documents and drawing revisions to the field team and subcontractors.
- Maintain and track project logsas assigned.
- Establish and maintain detail procedures for submittal review, coordination, and distribution to all parties.
- Assist the program manager and project managers with pre-construction services to ensure client's needs are met as project development takes place.
- Assist estimating team as needed including potential bid opportunities and bid preparation.
- Assists quality control and safety team in administration duties.

Essential Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Associates or Bachelor's in Project Management/Accounting preferred
- Required Knowledge/Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in construction and project management assistance in government contracting or related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
- MS Project, MS Office Skills, Excel Spreadsheet, Builders Trend, Primavera P6, AutoCAD knowledge a plus
