As our Project Coordinator, you are integral in keeping our office operations running smoothly and supporting the field team. You will support estimating, field operations, contracts, and office administration. Project Coordinator - Your Job Duties:
You will provide support to the Estimating and Project teams with office operations functions including:
- Work in the office to receive and organize bid invites and compile bids
- Assemble proposal and bid packages for new work, from assisting with identifying the opportunity through a detailed review of the requirements, typing and assembling all of the information for the bid, working directly with the project estimating team regarding pricing
- Follow up on the status of the bid, tracking submission date and contract award date
- Research and obtain information about bids not awarded (who the winning bid went to, price)
- Support the project managers and field team with requests
- Visit job sites periodically to obtain information about the project, including basic calculations to support bids, proposals and team progress updates
- Assist with proposals, contracts, submittals and follow ups of outstanding contracts and proposals
Project Coordinator – You Have:
- Able to work in office daily in Yuba City, California (7am – 4pm)
- Comfort with walking job sites, supporting estimating and field team needs, contracts, data entry, filing, answering the phone, logistics and whatever else is necessary, without ego – you are working in a closely held company where priorities may shift, everyone wears a lot of hats and flexibility and teamwork is needed
- Comfort with working in MS Office Suite (primarily MS Excel and OneDrive)
- Excellent organizational skills. You pride yourself on your data entry accuracy and a high attention to detail
- A valid drivers license / reliable transportation to the office and ability to drive occasionally to run errands / pick up or drop off packages
Project Coordinator – You Might Have (Not Required, but would be great):
- Experience with estimating, bid packages, construction proposals or related
- Experience, exposure or passion for the trades / construction industry
This role is 100% on site in Yuba City.
Compensation starts at $28+ per hour, depending on experience, overtime eligible.
Includes 401(k), and paid time off.
This role requires successful completion of a background check and drug test prior to first day.
