Job Summary
The Project Cost Engineer will support all facets of construction operations at the direction of the Project Controls Manager with a primary focus on the aggregation, management and reporting of project health information (cost, risk, schedule, and productivity). As the Project Cost Engineer your primary duties will include budget control, budget creation and management, risk assessment and reporting. Additionally, tasks may include assistance with estimating tasks, proposal development. Ideal candidate is an aspiring project controls manager who possesses aptitude to complete objectives with minimal oversight and demonstrates confidence in interpreting/managing processes and data reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Experience: 5+ years in the construction industry, preferably 2 years in project controls or project engineering. 2. Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. 3. Preferred candidates will have direct experience on the builder's side of the industry 4. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Physical Requirements
1. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis 2. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures 3. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis 4. Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day 5. Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis. 6. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day. 7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
