Job DescriptionThe Cricut Creative Department is a multi-faceted team of dreamers and doers who bring the Cricut brand to life through exceptional creative content. This in-house team turns business strategy into visual reality with best-in-class, forward-thinking solutions that consider the full scope of consumer touchpoints. The team is comprised of four key areas: Design, Copy, Project Design, and Operations. Together, their work helps people lead creative lives.
The Creative Department’s Project Design Team is a highly collaborative group of professional makers who deliver the perfect project for every creative need. This team owns the full scope of the project design process from conceptual work in partnership with the Concept team, through physical delivery to the Studio team for capture, to upload into Design Space for our consumers to recreate. They leverage machine and material expertise to make Cricut’s products shine no matter the size or difficulty of the project.
In this role, you will lead or support full-scope design for multi-faceted creative craft and design projects, flexing up to lead our largest initiatives as needed. You will bring the creative vision to life by translating Marketing strategy and conceptual look and feel into multi-touchpoint assets for product launches, campaigns, always-on programs (i.e., email), and more.
Responsibilities:
- Support projects as resourced, physically creating projects at scale
- Maintains the Project Design digital and physical project libraries
- Performs data entry related to Airtable, Design Space, and Miro
- Support project photography and video production efforts and be on set as needed
- Report to the Project Design Manager/Art Director
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in graphic design or illustration
- 2-4 years’ relevant working experience in graphic design or illustration
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience using design software (i.e., Adobe, Figma, Miro, etc.)
- Proven experience owning projects from inception to project closeout
- Ability to design and deliver complex project plans with attention to detail
- Self-starter with independent decision-making abilities
- Collaborative communicator with transparency and accountability
- Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, start-up environment and do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Be a team player and bring a positive attitude to the team even in a continually changing environment
