As they continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Project Engineer to join their dynamic team!

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet our customers’ needs. The idea candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem solving skills, and a passion for delivering high quality software products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receive project assignments from Project Manager and/or Technical Lead
• Write PLC and HMI Application Software
• Configure AC and DC Drive Equipment
• Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings
• Report on project status and communicate technical issues
• Develop technical documentation and specifications
• Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing
• Coordinate with Project Management, Technical Leads, and/ or Customers to commission systems

Preferred Experience with the following Drive systems: ABB, Allen Bradley, GE, Siemens, Reliance Electric.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation
• Experience working with PLC, AC, & DC Drive systems, and HMI products
• Metals processing knowledge is strongly preferred
• Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in automation products, software and complimentary areas
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability o lead all phases of a project while managing critical milestones and customers
