Are you ready to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts, and explore the exciting world of construction? Brayman Construction is looking to fill paid Co-Op positions starting in January, May, September 2024 (flexible dates).
The co-op will have the opportunity to be based within our corporate office in Saxonburg, PA, as well as at a few key field projects in Western Pennsylvania, southwest Virginia, West Virginia.
The program consists of various rotations throughout our divisions including heavy civil, deep foundation, and estimating.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION/ENGINEERING CO-OP
You will be exposed to all aspects of construction project management as well as participate on-site in field projects. You will have the opportunity to learn and perform the following:
- Coordinating projects and activities
- Preparing project reports
- Computation of cost and preparing estimates
- Analyzing blueprints, proposals, and labor estimates
- Following all safety procedures to complete work
- Performing hands on duties to see the work first hand
CO-OP QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in either Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business/Supply Chain, or Business Management degree
- Must be comfortable working in both an office and construction environment
- Must have interest in working hard and being challenged daily
- Must be willing to travel (per diem/lodging provided per company policy)

SAFETY
This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis.
