Project Engineer - Commercial Construction - Gpac

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the field of commercial construction. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and schedules
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project specifications
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Review and interpret project drawings and specifications
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and change orders
• Assist in the resolution of any project-related issues or disputes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
