Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our construction projects to ensure accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
2. Interpreting and reviewing system drawings to identify any potential issues or improvements.
3. Coordinating with various teams, including design, planning, and site execution, to ensure all project requirements are met.
4. Ensuring all project work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
5. Creating and implementing project schedules and plans, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all teams.
6. Developing and managing project budgets, including cost control and financial reporting.
7. Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
8. Providing technical advice and solving problems on-site.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 1 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
3. Proven experience in project management and team coordination.
4. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a knack for thinking on your feet.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
7. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in construction management software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
9. A valid license for the practice of engineering and construction.
10. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and standards.
