Project Engineer

Principal Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of all Engineering projects pursuant to project requirements.
- Responsible for schedules, approvals, cost control, development of RFP's and functional descriptions, inspections, testing, start-up, training requirements for new installations including operating instructions and maintenance manuals.
- Coordinate and review contractor and vendor activity and interface with site personnel as required insuring all Company standards are maintained.
- Collaborate as a member of a multi-function plant team to develop and implement solutions that improve the function and efficiency of the operation.
Job Complexity
- Effectively supervise and implement medium to high complexity multi-functional projects up to $5,000,000.
- Leverage and manage plant functional resources to successfully deliver project results.
- Collaboration with plant resources to balance schedules, planned work, and assets to meet the needs of the manufacturing plant.
- Determine the best course of action for equipment or procedural plant issues.
Job Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Years of relevant experience: 4-8 years of industrial experience

- Effective communication skills
- Working knowledge of CAD and engineering graphics
- High Voltage Power Distribution experience desired
- Electrical and Controls Engineering experience desired.
- Food and Beverage Engineered systems experience desired.
- Presentation skills using available technology and ability to convey information to other professional and operations personnel to accomplish assignments.
- Demonstrated ability in leading problem solving teams in leveraging continuous improvement tools LSS, 5Y, RCFA, Kaizen.
