Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting in the planning, management, and execution of heavy civil construction projects.
2. Coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other project team members to ensure all project requirements are met on time and within budget.
3. Preparing and reviewing project documentation, including plans, specifications, and schedules.
4. Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
5. Assisting in the resolution of technical issues that may arise during the construction process.
6. Participating in project meetings and providing regular updates on project progress to project managers and stakeholders.
7. Implementing quality control procedures and ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
8. Managing resources effectively to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy civil construction and previous experience on federal projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
4. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
7. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
