Job Description:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning and execution of high-end single family construction projects. Working closely with the Project Manager and the project team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects by providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to project specifications. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and management of project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Assisting with the coordination and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Reviewing and interpreting project drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and RFIs.
- Supporting the resolution of technical issues, conflicts, and changes during the construction process.
- Assisting with project cost tracking and analysis to ensure profitability.
- Promoting a culture of safety and ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in construction software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
