Job Details
Responsible for scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing and managing all the technical activities aimed at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Position involves business development, leadership of projects, and project management. In charge of planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule. Duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.
Adhere to compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
Conduct regular meetings with internal and external customers to ensure the projects meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, etc.) and report project status.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project team and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
Trace technical issues and problems to root cause and partner with managers and support staff to implement solutions.
Participate in meetings and perform relevant reporting activities.
Create, and modify specifications and design guidelines for new product lines, modifications and improvements.
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Professional Requirements:
Required proficiencies and additional qualification:
Special requirements:
BS in Engineering or equiv. degree/experience preferred.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager required.
5 Years professional experience in an CNC Machining Process/Plant preferred.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Programs
Advanced MS Office Skills
Teamwork capability
Must be able to work flexible hours
