Position Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Project Engineering Manager - EI&C. This role involves leading a team of engineers responsible for EI&C development and supporting safety, quality, and regulatory reviews, including HAZOP, code review, and environmental review. The ideal candidate will also manage project cost estimates, budgets, and cash-flow while driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead a team of EI&C engineers, supporting their development and overseeing safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Cost & Budget Management: Provide project cost estimates with accuracy according to the project phase and manage budgets and cash-flow to align with project needs.
Project Execution Strategy: Develop execution strategies, project schedules, and EI&C deliverables based on project phase and requirements.
Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with other project engineers and represent third-party contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines involved in the project.
Project Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, compile reports, and apply best practices in project management, engineering, and construction.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
Experience:
- 8 years of combined experience in project management, project engineering, plant/production engineering, and maintenance.
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering supervisory role.

Industry Knowledge:
- Background in the chemical industry or oil & gas operations and/or maintenance is a plus.
- Expertise in Project Management activities specific to EI&C, including scope development, cost estimates, bid packages, scheduling, change order management, vendor evaluation, etc.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in power distribution for medium and low voltage, equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, power studies, arc flash calculations, and hazardous area classification.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: Base Salary of $110,000 – $135,000 with a 15% bonus potential.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing electrical projects, with 1+ years working with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives & motors, measuring devices, and ethernet cameras. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Rockwell programming software (RS Logix, FactoryView) and Microsoft Office Suite/Project. Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
