About the Job
As a member of a Program Management team, the candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and assist with the execution of Task Orders awarded under several technical programs. The candidate will generate and update complex financial reports, track financial deliverables, and identify and report any potential critical financial issues or shortfalls. The candidate will assist the Project Manager in monitoring all aspects of project execution and ensure budgets and project deliverables are maintained.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Acts responsible for all financial reporting within the program guidelines set by the Project Manager and contract requirement
* Develops monthly and quarterly reports such as Task Order Status Reports, Staffing Plan Report, Personnel Listing Report and other contractual deliverables
* Develops, maintains, and advises the Project Manager on the execution of a spend plan
* Develops bi-weekly Timesheet Guidance in accordance with spend plans and financial reports
* Participates in monthly spend plan and schedule meetings with the Project Manager and government customers to identify potential funding/ceiling/manning gaps
* Maintains and regularly updates Financial Workbooks, budget files and charge codes with new financial awards
* Utilizes Share Point reporting system to develop mid-month financial statistics
* Assists in the development and maintenance of the project Task-books and WBS documentation as needed
* Assists the Project Manager with the development and execution of the project travel schedule
* Facilitates all travel arrangements though Teplis Travel and SPOT
* Supports routine internal project subcontract and procurement activities such as Task Order modifications, Performance Work Statements (PWS), invoicing, and material acquisitions as needed
* Coordinates and facilitates program meetings, reviews, and working groups as needed
* Assists the Project Manager with new-hire on-boarding and orientation activities
* Assists the customer in the purchasing of material requisitions via Aestiva, tracking of requisition deliveries, and creation of material receiving logs upon delivery
* Assists the Project Manager with the development and delivery of the Weekly Status Report
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or combination of education and 10 years of project financial management and administrative experience is required
* This position requires exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
* This position requires an active Secret clearance
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous experience working within the DoD contractor support industry preferred
* Some experience with the use of Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint to build and maintain Org charts and flow diagrams
* The ability to use Microsoft Project to perform routine tracking of IMS details
