Title: Industrial Engineer (IE) with Construction Management Experience
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 18 months
Pay Range:$50.00/hr on W2 to $55.00/hr on W2
Implementing phase work can be done remotely, then will be needed to be onsite.
Summary:
Looking for an Industrial Engineer (IE) with Construction Management Experience in Medical Products Finished Goods Warehouse Construction Management experience for a 12 18 months project to build out an existing structure in the area of Houston, Texas, that will serve as a Regional Distribution Center for Renal solution products. This project is in the initial design phase. The buildout portion of the project is anticipated to begin by Sep 2024 and conclude by Mar 2025.
Job Description:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for leading the design activities with a contracted design firm, overseeing specific disciplines, and providing support according to the proposed project schedule to avoid delays or lack of prompt answers to requests for information, approval of Construction Plans and Specifications, Revisions and Approvals of Submittals by the contractors, and clarifications on undefined or inconclusive scope covered in the Construction Plans and Specifications.
The IE will be expected to perform the following minimum services:

" Safety Program and documentation
" Integrated Facilities/Utilities & Process Equipment Installation Schedule

" Mechanically complete facility
" HSE Management
" Quality Management
" Mechanical Completion & Turnover
" Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Assistance
" Documentation and Handing over
" Schedule Management
" Project Schedule Milestones
" S Curves
" Tracking/Catch Up Look Ahead
" Daily Reports
" Weekly Reports
" Monthly Reports
" Invoice/Variation
" Daily Meetings

" Coordination with design office for field queries and inspection visits.
The IE will also be responsible for Subcontractor Management, Field Change Process, Quantity Measurement & Invoice Certification, Material Management, Document Management, Project Reference, and Communication, and Coordination Procedure.
Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree in IE with construction management experience or related field.
" 5+ years of experience in Medical Products Finished Goods Warehouse Construction Management or related experience.
" Experience with warehouse processes automation technologies desired.
" Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion.
" Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
" Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
" Ability to read and interpret Construction Plans and Specifications.
" Strong organizational and time-management skills.
" Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
