Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Project Management Analyst.

Position Type: Full-time - Contract

Location:  Newport News, VA 23607

As a Project Management Analyst, you will:

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

• Knowledge of industry practices.
• Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.
• Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
• May refer to established precedents and policies.
• Performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment.
• Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.
• Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
• Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
• Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
• Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• May develop and deliver presentations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors in related field and 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• 4 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.
• 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.
• 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

Required:

• Support Alteration Integration Team (AIT) & Submarine Fleet Support program procurement efforts for material & vendor services.
• Communicate at a high level to Gov’t/Program/Project/ and other stakeholders on the status of material and vendor services.
• Independent problem solver.
• Track and Articulate Procurement Scopes, BOE’s, Procurement office sourcing through receiving.
• Be familiar with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Pay Range*:  $40 - $45 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
