Media Fusion is seeking a Project Management Specialist to join our team for an upcoming contract.
Duties
- Assign duties or responsibilities to project personnel.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Create project status presentations for delivery to customers or project personnel.
- Develop or update project plans including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing.
Required Minimum Experience:
- Candidate has at least 10 years demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Program management, including data collection and metrics development
- Coordination with public and private sector stakeholders, to include state and local government, academia, law enforcement, and/or nongovernmental organizations
- Experience working with educational programming
Desired Experience:
- Community-based approaches to prevention (e.g., terrorism, public health, violence, etc.)
- Social work, threat assessment, public health, policy analysis, behavioral science, or counterterrorism
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment.
If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
