Job Summary:

Position Title: Project Manager - 1
Location: Remote with travel to Albany and NYC offices as needed (10% travel required)
Duration: 2 years
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- 1) Assist with NYSERDA Fleet Electrification Planning (FEP) program. Review FEP applications, scope documents, and deliverables;
- 2) Attend kickoff, scoping, and coordination meetings between school districts/fleets and FEP consultants;
- 3) Assist with NY School Bus Incentive Program (NYSBIP) program. Coordinate with school districts and school bus contractors as they consider and submit applications;
- 4) Coordinate with NYSBIP support contractor managing applications, track applications;
- 5) Update NYSBIP program rules as necessary and in response to industry trends; and
- 6 ) Other duties as required to contribute to the key outcomes of the Clean Transportation team.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- NEIS, Salesforce, MS Office, Asana
- A Bachelor's degree required.
- - Strong project management skills to be able to work on many projects at the same time;
- - Ability to initiate, track, and manage multiple consultant contracts;
- - Strong IT system fluency or ability to learn systems quickly;
- - Ability to work collaboratively with internal team members to support a wide range of initiatives;
- - Ability to interact with outside stakeholders, including local governments, transit agencies, and community based organizations;
- - Strong organizational skills and ability to follow/set processes for managing many projects is essential; and
- - General understanding of clean transportation, shared mobility, transit, and/or electric mobility is preferred but not required.
- - Experience in contract management would be helpful but is not required.
- - Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred;
- - Background knowledge of clean transportation deployments, utilities, or energy systems helpful but not required
