About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Calculate job estimates and create proposal documents and presentations for the client.
- Assess and address any potential issues related to the field or design in collaboration with the Project Superintendent, General Superintendent, and Project Engineer.
- Finalize the project buyout within two weeks following the contract award.
- Regularly create and update the project schedule.
- Review plans and specifications to deliver clear and accurate interpretations of designs and drawings for construction.
- Identify, investigate, and propose solutions to design-related challenges; maintain effective communication with the field superintendent.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with construction management software.
- Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications, and building materials.
- Proficiency in the department's computer system and necessary software; typing skills required.
- 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take responsibility.
- Ability to assume responsibility and interface effectively with others.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA Certification.
- First Aid Certification.
Education
- 4-year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent technical training.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience in a supervisory or management position.
