Randall Architectural Ironworks is currently seeking a top-tier Project Manager (Architectural Metals & Signage), with 4-7 years of experience in a Construction related field,to work in our Apopka, FL Office/Shop and on projects throughout Central Florida.We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.
Position Summary
For our Project Manager: Architectural Metals & Signage position, the qualified candidate will work on high profile projects behind the scenes at theme parks and at other known venues.
Our work is schedule driven, so this individual must have a strong work ethic and be able to manage time and multiple priorities effectively while working in a highly collaborative environment. The ability to find solutions through positive attitude, taking direction and flexibility is essential.
Essential Functions
The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from conception to completion. He/she will apply his/her experience in commercial and industrial architectural, custom home building or custom tradeshow fabrication along with construction documents, field observation, building materials, specifications, construction techniques. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, he/she will be coordinating with colleagues (GM, Field Superintendent, APMs and Admin Staff) as required. He/she will be responsible for communication and coordination with assigned clients.
Desired Qualification Requirements
- Has 4-7 years’ experience managing in a variety of construction environments
- Communicates and coordinates project requirements with the project team, vendors and consultants.
- Has excellent technical knowledge and management skills to plan, direct and monitor all aspects of projects.
- Monitors and tracks project progress, invoicing, and budget, and is responsible for overall project performance and profitability.
- Responsible for the development and coordination of the drawings and specifications including contract compliance, schedule commitments, and product research and material take-offs.
- Organizes and directs internal production team(s) to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.
- Performs and/or provides support for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project.
- Oversees, reviews, and assists in the design and production of instruments of service to deliver our work to clients.
- Participates in the development of quality control procedures to accurately complete technical documents. Recommends updated procedures and methods where appropriate.
- Attends meetings with clients and promotes positive client contact with current and prospective clients.
- Be willing and able to work extended and off hours
- Possess good computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
- Value and exhibit safe working methods
- Communicate efficiently and effectively
- Pass a background & driving record check
From contract/estimating, through submittals/timeline/budget confirmation, to mock-ups, final fabrication and installation, the Project Manager provides the cohesive link for all the participants in the project. This is a vitally important role on which the success of the project and ultimately the company depends.
