Position Type: Part-time, Independent Contractor (approximately 12-18 months)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position will manage coordination and implementation of software development projects defined by the organization’s strategic initiatives.
DUTIES PERFORMED
- Be knowledgeable about the software and the application of its use.
- Drive implementation for the project.
- Coordinate between Alpha Delta Pi, the software development vendor, and stakeholders across the organization.
- Work with stakeholders to collect product requirements and definitions.
- Ensure use cases and definitions are well documented.
- Support the product owner to organize any backlogs, set priorities, and coordinate regular roadmap planning with the software developers.
- Create self-paced and live training and education for common use cases and as new features are introduced.
- Train the trainers on how to use software.
- Monitor in-bound support emails.
- Report progress and status to stakeholders.

SUGGESTED BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of professional experience or equivalent, in the areas of project management, software development methods, business development, or equivalent role/s.
- Knowledge of Alpha Delta Pi or Greek organizations and their operations, preferred.
- Skilled in project management tools (Google Sheets project management templates, MS Project or Planner, JIRA, etc.).
- Experience with Lean process development and continuous improvement.
- Experience with finance or property management software tools a plus.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong analytical skills, oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, and decision-making ability.
- Proactive, self-directed, and able to independently solve problems.
- Customer service oriented and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Outstanding organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
REQUIRED TRAVEL
- This position may require some travel.
EMPLOYMENT LOCATION
Alpha Delta Pi’s Executive Office in Atlanta, GA preferred; remote work will be considered. Remote work is not eligible in the following states: CA, NY, NJ, HI, AK. Atlanta-based staff participate in a hybrid work schedule that may be granted after the first 90 days of employment. Alpha Delta Pi reserves the right to change work status with notice to employee.
