ABOUT TERREVA RENEWABLES:
Terreva Renewables is an industry-leading developer, owner, and operator of renewable natural gas (RNG) projects, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The company leverages technology to capture methane gas from landfills and convert it to renewable natural gas. Its senior management team has over 40 years of collective experience developing RNG projects, as well as extensive additional experience in landfill gas-to-electricity projects, gas collection and control systems, and midstream oil and gas operations. Terreva's current portfolio is comprised of seven assets – approximately 20,000 scfm of raw landfill gas flow and 3.5 million MMBtu's per year of RNG production (2025E) – in operation and construction across North America. Terreva is a portfolio company under the management of CIM Group, LLC.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for management of large industrial construction projects in the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) market. The PM is part of the Engineering & Construction team and moves the projects from the development and design phase through construction and to handoff to the Operations group. Specific areas of concern may include: high pressure gas compression, site preparation, PSA and membrane gas separation systems, gas pipeline and landfill Gas Collection and Control Systems (GCCS) installation and improvement. Typically, Terreva does not self-perform construction services but rather hires General Contractors, Design-Build firms or EPCs to source the work. PMs in this setting are required to have supervisory level skills, be aware of all critical activities and act as the eyes and ears of the company during the construction process to ensure Terreva's interests are safeguarded and projects are delivered as expected, on schedule and within budget. This position is part of the Engineering & Construction Department and reports to the VP, Engineering & Construction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise and manage the design and construction of Terreva projects
- Utilize knowledge of pertinent construction methods and processes (fabricated, installed and maintained): Mechanical Fabrication. Gas piping, fluids piping and HVAC systems, Electrical Construction, Transformers, MCCs, Motor starters, wiring, Control Systems, PLC based local controls, SCADA, facility integration
- Manage material, equipment, tools, information, and subcontractor procurement
- Communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners
- Manage the project budget and communicate changes and variances
- Mitigate risk to Terreva through contract review and negotiation
- Monitor/control construction through site visits, meetings, calls, and documentation to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Manage expenses and review invoices and contractor payables
- Prepare and manage all aspects of project-related contracts
- Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect work and specifications
- Represent Terreva in project meetings, assist in negotiations/strategy meetings, etc.
- Keep all participants and stakeholders informed to bring projects in on schedule and within budget
- Provide project closeout documentation: as-builts, punch list, commissioning plan.
- Lead and promote safety at all projects through deployment of industry best practices
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
- 3-5+ years of experience in managing commercial/industrial construction projects with particular emphasis on mechanical and electrical systems
- A BS degree in Engineering, Building Construction or an equivalent technical discipline
- HS diploma with at least 5 years of construction supervisory experience in the mechanical or electrical trades

- Familiarity with project management software and scheduling tools such as MS Project or other Gantt chart applications
- Excellent communications and ability to be effective cross the spectrum of partners and employees: management, contractors, labor, equipment suppliers
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
- Deadline driven and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and to proactively evaluate and address work opportunities within the area of responsibility
- Availability for up to ½ out of office travel
