We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our growing construction team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on our projects, and lead a team in delivering high-quality construction solutions to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management from initial conception to final completion, including design, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
2. Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
3. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Use project management tools such as Procore Commercial Construction and P6 to track project progress and manage risks.
5. Develop comprehensive project plans, and monitor and report on project progress regularly.
6. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
7. Lead and manage project teams, fostering a positive team environment and promoting accountability.
8. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety within the team.
9. Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
10. Address potential issues and implement problem-solving solutions.
11. Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with experience as the lead project manager on GC or CM projects.
3. Proven experience with Procore Commercial Construction and P6.
4. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
5. Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
6. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
7. Outstanding negotiation and contract management skills.
8. Strong strategic planning and risk management abilities.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
10. Proven experience in budgeting and financial management.
11. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
12. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
13. A team player with leadership abilities.
14. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
