The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing our company intranet development and the New York site build.
This position is part of the Corporate team in Bellmore, NY and will be located Hybrid.
You will report directly to the CEO. This role involves overseeing projects and will also lead future company developments. If you thrive in a collaborative and dynamic role and want to work to empower the evolution of modern medicine-read on.
In this role, you will have to opportunity to:
Project Planning and Strategy: Define goals and develop plans for the intranet and site build, managing budgets and timelines.
Team Coordination and Leadership: Assemble and lead project teams, serving as the main contact for communication with stakeholders.
Execution and Monitoring: Oversee project tasks, track performance, and manage risks effectively.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, manage expectations, and provide updates and reports.
Quality Control and Assurance: Establish quality standards for deliverables and evaluate project outcomes.
Project Closing and Documentation: Ensure completion and acceptance of deliverables, conduct evaluations, and document lessons learned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT or software development projects.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Project Management Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team coordination.
Organizational Skills:
- Strong time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Certification: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are often preferred.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Industry Experience: Previous experience in intranet development or site build projects.
Technical Skills: Understanding of web development technologies or software development processes.
International Collaboration Experience: Experience working with remote or overseas teams.
Change Management Skills: Ability to manage and lead organizational change.
Advanced Degree: Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA) can be a plus.
Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to and experience with diverse cultures, especially if managing international teams.
Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze project performance metrics and use data to inform decision-making.
