Project Manager, Business Applications - HireRight

HireRight is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager for our Business Applications area to join our team reporting into our Technology Program Management Office (TPMO). This role will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and execution of the initiatives running through the Business Applications Portfolio of Projects and help escalate impediments, manage risk, and help drive program-level continuous improvement. This role will work closely with HireRight’s Business Applications teams to include Engineering, QA Testing, Business Analysts, Product Owners and business SMEs and Stakeholders. Specifically, this role will focus on the Portfolio of Projects to improve our internal Customer Onboarding applications and tools focused on automation, decreasing manual efforts and decreasing average time for the new client onboarding and setup process.

This is a hybrid position with days required weekly on-site at our Nashville, TN office location.

• Work with on-site and remote technology teams and business stakeholders located in the US, Europe, India and Asia-Pacific region
• Facilitate the delivery of products and projects using Agile principles as well as other methodologie
• May work with Agile Delivery Teams to facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and focused on delivering value
• Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders located in the U.S. and globally, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive improvement
• Help keep the team on track and ensure that projects meet specific standards at each stage of the process
• Scheduling and facilitating project discovery, requirements gathering, peer reviews, stakeholder reviews, legal and compliance sign-offs, project statuses and other meetings
• Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments, and progress of the Program Increment for teams
• Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements
• Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing
• Work closely with the Product Owners to ensure that the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is clear and understood by the team
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encourage experimentation, and facilitate a learning environment within the organization
• Work with Delivery Teams on metrics creation and analysis to steer coaching needs based on how the team is performing

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years experience working as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager in the Business Applications, Software Development or other technology area
• Past experience in business analysis or other analytical roles
• Proven and successful experience in a project management role
• Deep understanding of Agile principles, values, and methodologies, with expertise in Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to influence and inspire others towards Agile practices and mindsets
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), PMP certifications are highly desirable
• Good knowledge of tools such as Jira, Version One, MS Project, Confluence, Rally or Grasshopper
• Must be able to work overlapping hours between teams based in US, Europe, and India
