The Project Manager - Business Transformation will be responsible for managing a variety of transformation projects, including setup of manufacturing lines, engineering improvements, cloud-based platform deployments and other projects deemed as strategic by our Leadership team. These projects are complex, touch many areas of our business, and require an extremely strong level of organization and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management and execution of transformation projects, including gathering business and technical requirements
- Develop project timelines with key milestones, identify dependencies, track progress, resourcing, budget, and risks to ensure each project is properly scoped so that success can be measured
- Facilitate communication with team members, project stakeholders, and other departments to align on objectives, activities, and outputs supporting each project
- Coordinate with different teams and areas across the organization to meet deadlines and deliverables for each project
- Proactively run risk assessment activities and identify areas for improvement, developing, and implementing mitigation strategies to support a successful project execution
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including project plans and progress reports
- Maintain records of project activities, decisions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in project management or related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management and process improvement
- 3+ years of experience in change management, or business transformation initiatives
- Experience managing technical project teams, including a basic understanding of manufacturing principles
- Experience with optimization processes (e.g. optimization of strategic planning, sourcing, logistics, finance processes, performance management, etc.)
- Collaborative spirit, and able to communicate with a wide range of people at all levels and across different cultures
- Strong time management skills with an ability to plan ahead, anticipate requirements, problems, and obstacles, and an ability to juggle competing priorities successfully, and work on tight deadlines
- Ability to navigate ambiguity while applying strategy and processes appropriately
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Excel, and other standard programs for project, business, and financial management
- Knowledge of project management and engineering software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- PMP certificate or similar
- 5+ years of experience in supporting business transformation initiatives and system implementations in regulated products
