We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for the effective management of designated projects, including oversight of budgets and schedules, and coordination of cross-functional teams. This role ensures projects are completed per contract specifications, on time, and in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The Project Manager will proactively communicate any schedule or budget risks and inform relevant stakeholders of potential impacts.
Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $39 - $49/per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for the effective management of designated projects, including oversight of budgets and schedules, and coordination of cross-functional teams. This role ensures projects are completed per contract specifications, on time, and in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The Project Manager will proactively communicate any schedule or budget risks and inform relevant stakeholders of potential impacts.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception to completion, overseeing contracting, RF design, product ordering, permitting, regulatory compliance, construction, optimization, site acquisition, project close-out, and hand-off to operations.
- Coordinate with and manage external vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Develop, adjust, and close out project plans and budgets as necessary, ensuring all required documentation is received.
- Lead internal and external deployment meetings with team members and stakeholders to review job status and make adjustments as needed for timely completion.
- Provide comprehensive job status reports in customer deployment meetings and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate and complete project files, ensuring timely distribution of close-out documents according to corporate and customer standards.
- Ensure accuracy in project tracking systems.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in wireless or telecommunications.
- Experience managing project budgets and customer-facing project management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, and property management.
- Understanding of Public and Private right-of-way project deployment, including regulatory and permitting processes.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction methods (civil, plant construction, tower/roof structures).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service orientation.
- Proficiency in managing multiple data streams.
- Knowledge of construction services, including Telco, power, fiber, vendor equipment requirements, and antennas.
