What does the role involve?
As a Project Manager for Cruise Ships, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation of Bath Fitter projects aboard cruise ships. This role involves managing client relationships within the cruise industry, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget, and working closely with internal teams. The position is hybrid, designed to fit your life, offering a lot of flexibility.

What is the ideal profile for this position?
- A university degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in account management, client relationship management, large commercial project management, or related experience.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the cruise ship, construction, or renovation industry.
- Knowledge of the technical aspects related to manufacturing and renovation projects is desirable.
- Ability to travel 25% to 50% of the time, including internationally.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a passport and international driver's license if necessary.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules occasionally in response to technical emergencies.
As a Project Manager for Cruise Ships, what will your responsibilities be?
Project Management and Coordination:
- Ensure the successful completion of installations.
- Manage inventory, maintain stock levels, ensure stock safety, and oversee accurate counts.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and cruise ship clients, addressing any issues that may affect timelines or outcomes.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for cruise ship clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization to ensure an overall positive customer experience.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise during a project.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert advice and recommendations to help them achieve their renovation goals.
Internal Team Communication:
- Collaborate closely with the Technical Services team to ensure technical requirements are met for each renovation project.
- Facilitate clear communication and project plan coordination with the Technical Services team to address technical challenges or requirements.
- Provide regular updates to the Technical Services team on project progress and any issues that may affect project delivery.
- Communicate with the management team, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Set realistic expectations and maintain a strong focus on deliverables and timelines.
