Position Overview: The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of drywall and paint projects from inception to completion. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the construction industry. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of drywall and paint projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and controlling costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager in the drywall and paint industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods specific to drywall and painting.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
