Project Manager – Electrical Construction (Commercial, Multi-Family, Industrial)

About the Role:

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of large-scale electrical projects from inception through completion. You’ll work directly with general contractor project managers, lead project buyouts, manage change orders, and ensure budgets and schedules are met. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably with a background in electrical construction. Experience as an electrician is a significant plus, as is familiarity with project management software such as Procore and estimating tools like McCormick.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee commercial, multi-family, and industrial electrical projects from start to finish.
• Manage change orders, project budgets, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with General Contractor Project Managers to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
• Use estimating tools (McCormick preferred) to develop project estimates and manage project finances.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety standards are met.
• Build out monthly schedules of values and ensure timely project delivery.
• Lead a team of foremen and work closely with the General Superintendent to ensure quality control.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer in the electrical field.
• Hands-on experience in electrical construction, ideally as an electrician.
• Familiarity with estimating software (McCormick preferred) and project management tools (Procore a plus).
• Proven track record of managing budgets, change orders, and schedules effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Journeyman card is a plus but not required.
