We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator (Industrial Painting & Coating) to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure all deadlines are met. You will also take the lead on projects. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to the right team members, checking their progress and ensuring that each project is completed to the highest standard. Qualified candidates will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, drive to win, team mentality, good problem-solving skills, and be honest and reliable.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate, Plan, schedule and coordinate projects with GC's and owners.
- Utilize estimating software
- Manage all phases of multiple assigned projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Responsible for estimating and seeing projects through until completion
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Read and review architectural plans for project details and specifics.
- Analyze proposals and requirements to prepare cost estimates for potential projects.
- Utilize estimation, database, Microsoft, and other software.
- Work with an existing team (Superintendents, Foremen, Warehouse, etc.) to prepare for the project start.
- Develop and manage new and existing accounts, assume existing business, and build new relationships with targeted accounts.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or estimating in the industrial coatings or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Ability to read and understand required documents, blueprints, and project plans.
- Proficient in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, MS Project, or similar project management software.
- Must be familiar with Estimating software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full - Time
- Competitive salary at $100,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
