We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Estimator Project Manager to join our growing team in the Concrete Restoration department.
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Estimator Project Manager to join our growing team in the Concrete Restoration department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for estimating and managing commercial construction project from start to finish
- Review project plan specification and other document to develop accurate cost estimate
- Analyze and interpret project blueprint, drawing and specification to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment cost
- Prepare take off, the scope of work and bid package for commercial construction project
- Communicate with subcontractor supplier and vendor to obtain quote
- Analyze bid result and prepare detailed proposal and cost estimate for client
- Manage commercial construction project from pre construction to project completion ensuring that project are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress and communicate with client, subcontractor and project team member to ensure that project goal are met
- Develop project lead
- Coordinate and manage all project, and activities, including scheduling budgeting and quality control
- Ensure that project documentation including contract, change order and project report, is completed accurately and on time
Education & Experience
- Minimum education level of a bachelor degree in Construction Management, or a related field
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 year of experience as a commercial construction estimator and be knowledgeable of project management principle
- Understanding of construction method material, and cost
- Ability to read and interpret construction plan blueprint, and specification
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control cost.
- A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract document, term and condition
- Excellent communication and negotiation skill
- Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
- Experience with Specialty Contractor or a "Self Performing " contractor
- Experience in sale marketing a plus
- Strong leadership and management skill
- Travel: Travel to and from job site is required The client will compensate for travel expense if applicable.
