Description
Contract to direct position for a Project Manager to plan, execute and evaluate major projects to be completed ahead of timelines and on budget.
Position is with a leading food service provider of ingredients and condiments.
Lead significant project teams at various manufacturing sites in NY and NJ.
Provide solutions to various project issues to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Track and routinely report status of key projects.
Recommend project scheduling, prioritization, internal personnel and resources to senior management.
Coach other project teams on the proper use of project management tools.
Requirements
BS Engineering
PMP certification.
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations project management.
Proven track record of planning and successfully executing both small and large-scale complex projects.
Deep understanding of project management best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management planning skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office and the latest project management and team collaboration software.
Detail-oriented, self starter with strong leadership, problem solving, communication, motivation, technical, and time management skills.
Highly organized, with exceptional follow up skills, ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
