Position Overview
Service multiple sales and house accounts as assigned.
Estimate projects - analyze specifications, determine optimal production, prepare preliminary layouts,
work directly with vendors for pricing, create quote letters, manage filing system
Responsibilities
Service multiple sales and house accounts as assigned
Estimate projects - analyze specifications, determine optimal production, prepare preliminary layouts,
work directly with vendors for pricing, create quote letters, manage filing system.
Routinely review job cost sheets and refer to them for estimating future orders.
Enter sales orders; Develop Bill of Materials (job materials, operations / production data) using Syteline.
Purchase print - coordinate approvals and timing.
Effectively communicate complete and accurate details to individual departments.
Oversee manufacturing process from concept to final output - expediting
Facilitate approval process for die, instruction sheets, cartons, labels and shipping.
Receive, respond and solve internal and external inquiries and /or complaints
Interact as liaison between sales team, customer, design & manufacturing
Maintain production schedule for indvidual jobs.
Effectively communicate complete and accurate details to individual departments
Oversee manufacturing process from concept to final output - expediting
Facilitate approval process for die, instruction sheets, cartons, labels and shipping.
Receive, respond and solve internal and external inquiries and /or complaints.
Works independently - regularly exercises judgment and discretion.
Maintain highly organized, detailed records of specifications, estimate details and job information.
Maintain a positive , cooperative, professional attitude toward customers, vendors and co-workers.
Continually meet or exceed internal and external customer needs / expectations in quality and service.
Maintain a good attendance record.
Offer suggestions for problem solving, streamlining processes, etc.
Offer assistance to less experienced employees on job duties / procedures as needs arise.
Perform other related duties as requested by Supervisor or Management.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Speak, read, write English
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent math skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with Syteline a plus
Previous work experience in manufacturing of packaging and displays a plus.
