What you'll do:

As a Project Manager at Viasat, you will play a critical role in supporting internal project planning, coordination, and execution! This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (domestic and international) to ensure that projects are delivered on time. You will present status summaries, risks, and opportunities to Executive Leaders. You will also provide training to the business Segments and Functions, as it relates to your project(s).

The day-to-day:

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations. You will be responsible for project execution through leadership, planning, scheduling, financial estimating and reporting, and deliverable management.
• Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and internal customers.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas and ensuring follow-up on action items.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance project management efficiency.
• Provide general administrative support, as needed.
• Outstanding communication, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are key enablers for success in the role.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, a related field or equivalent years of experience 
• 1+ years of experience in project coordination or administration
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Unrelenting customer focus, a passion for excellence, and a one-team mindset
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
• Comfortable presenting status, risks, and opportunities to Executive Leadership
• Comfortable providing status and training company-wide
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Schedule flexibility to work with international team members
• Travel up to 10%
• US Citizen required

What will help you on the job:

• Project Management Certification(s)
• Ability to have a hybrid work schedule in Carlsbad, CA

Salary range:$55,100.00 - $95,900.00 / annually :At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
