- Project Planning and Coordination: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs stay within projected limits.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring project requirements are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor on-site teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among all trades and stakeholders.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring timely and quality performance according to contracts.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work is in compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Project Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address challenges and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications through regular site inspections.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage material orders and deliveries, ensuring supplies are on-site as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in commercial and light industrial projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Software: Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, BuilderTrend, or similar platforms.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Budgeting: Experience in managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
