Are you an experienced project manager looking to take on a new challenge? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Project Manager in the construction industry. This role is crucial to our company's success, as you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and contracts.
3. Managing risks and ensuring quality control throughout the project.
4. Leading and coordinating the project team to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
5. Implementing and maintaining safety management protocols on site.
6. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
7. Managing site operations and ensuring efficient time management.
8. Negotiating contracts and managing subcontractors and suppliers.
9. Utilizing BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and scheduling software to manage project details.
10. Coordinating with the pre-construction team to verify scope and cost, and setting up special procedures as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. At least 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
2. Strong knowledge of construction management, budgeting, contract management, risk management, and quality control.
3. Excellent skills in scheduling, cost control, negotiation, strategic planning, team leadership, communication, and safety management.
4. Exceptional customer service, site management, and time management skills.
5. Proven ability to provide proactive project management, including evaluating and completing prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
6. Proficiency in BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and scheduling software.
7. Ability to understand the terms and conditions of contracts and ensure that all items are bought out in a timely manner.
8. Valid driver's license.
