We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager for our Healthcare OSHPD Construction projects. This role is integral to our team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. As a Project Manager, you will be working on some of the most technically challenging and innovative healthcare projects in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the OSHPD Healthcare Construction project from start to finish.
2. Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
3. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
4. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
5. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
6. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
7. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
8. Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
9. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
10. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing OSHPD Healthcare Construction Projects.
3. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in project management software.
6. Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and the specific requirements and regulations of OSHPD construction projects.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong understanding of construction processes, means and methods, costs, quality control, and safety measures.
9. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
10. PMP certification is a plus.
