Join us. **Job Description** AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Oakland, CA. + Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. + Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. + Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. + Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project. **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or other Engineering discipline + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California **Preferred Qualifications:** + Ability to proactively communicate and lead department staff + Minimum of 12 years of experience which reflect a progressively increasing level of leadership and responsibility + Experience with business development and client relations + Project management experience leading small to medium sized highway projects; well-versed in all aspects of project development + Excellent written and oral communications skills + We are interested in every qualified candidate eligible to work in the United States.
