About This Role

Looking for a Program Manager to support critical IT projects aligned with our Digital Enterprise initiatives. This role is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance management of multiple projects involving cross-functional teams across all IT departments and key business functions, including engineering, configuration management, manufacturing engineering, and program management. This position requires on-site presence in Hunt Valley, MD, and involves working with multiple sites across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Disciplined program execution with a bias towards action, analytical presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Developing detailed project schedules.
• Estimating project costs.
• Monitoring adherence to program plans, including schedule, risk, and resource planning.
• Managing program requirements and controlling scope.
• Coordinating statements of work for contractors.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with external and internal customers.
• Ensuring compliance with requirements defined by Textron Systems IT Program Management procedures.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle process.
• Experience working in an Agile methodology.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, including the ability to supervise others and work within a team environment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with 4DX (The 4 Disciplines of Execution) methodologies is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or business administration is preferred.
• 5 years of directly related experience in Program Management.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
