Title: Project Manager (Hybrid)
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Client: Florida Department of Children and Families - FDCF

Type: long-term contract
Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested, to guarantee the Client that the candidate submitted, interviewing and showing up for work is one and the same
Must-have skills:
EDU: Bachelor's degree or MBA is pref.
• 8 + y of managing large IT projects exp
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• EHR systems implementation exp or current healthcare/gov health EXP
PREFERRED:
gov exp,
Agile, MS Project, Azure DevOps, SmartSheet, MS Teams.
Requirements:
• Availability to work at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience in managing large IT projects (5+ years);
• Experience in developing and executing complex project plans, schedules, budgets, and spend plans;
• Experience coordinating, monitoring, and reporting the activities of multiple teams and stakeholders;
• Experience in managing large projects with system integrators;
• Experience implementing and/or managing EHR systems (preferred);
• Experience in data systems used within a behavioral health setting (preferred);
• Experience in the project management and procurement processes used by Florida state government (preferred);
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Comprehensive Project Governance and Management;
• Plan, schedule, facilitate, and document meetings;
• Scope management;
• Continuous project schedule management and monitoring;
• Risk and issue management;
• Change control management;
• Staffing plan management;
• Assist with project procurements;
• Assist with the evaluation of potential solutions;
• Produce reports and project artifacts;
• Assist with the management of project budget and spend plan;
• Create or analyze business requirements documents and project timelines;
• Drive team iteration execution, communicates with management and stakeholders, protects the team from uncontrolled injection of work (changes are evaluated/intentional);
• Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance;
• Work with the team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks;
• Implement and support principles, rules and processes;
• Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate flow;
• Presents high-level project readouts for senior management.
