SCOPE OF ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, the Project Manager will organize, manage, assess risk, and plan complex projects for the organization’s development, and project implementation efforts. The Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across functional areas working with key internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring completion of project process documentation.
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED:
- Collaborate with Leadership and stakeholders to plan tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Work with functional and executive leadership to secure resource commitments required to carry out the project
- Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project; prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
- Conduct risk assessments and report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for responses to risk.
- Identify project duration and work effort required; develop and maintain a project schedule to ensure project objectives are met.
- Lead/Facilitate team meetings to review and communicate deliverables, project milestones, accomplishments, and next steps pushing accountability to ensure adherence to established project success metrics.
- Spokesperson for each assigned project. Project contact for questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Act as a liaison and coordination point between company and vendors.
- Manages relationships, communication and training with project stakeholders and vendors, keeping them closely engaged in all aspects of the project and escalating issues as needed.
- Communicates and collaborates with internal departments to promote or provide training and information related to the project.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMI-CAPM) Certification or higher required. PMI-PMP certification preferred. Experience greater than 2-4 years required in lieu of certification. Certification required to be completed within 18 months of hire.
- 2-4+ years’ experience in project management required. Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
- Experience working with project stakeholders and leadership team presenting project status reports required.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements.
- Proven flexible, agile, and adaptable to change while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office/clinical work environment. May be remote and reporting on site as needed.
- While hours of operation are generally standard, flexibility to work evenings and extended hours may be required.
- Requires periods of sitting, standing, telephone, and computer work.
- Hearing: adequate to hear clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
- Speaking: adequate to speak to clients or patients in person, over the telephone or through telehealth technology.
- Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
- Physical effort required: occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15 pounds, unassisted.
- Possible exposure to blood borne pathogens while performing job duties.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular workday.
- Sufficient dexterity to operate a PC and other office equipment.
