MORI Associates is seeking a Project Manager II to provide project management services for the KSC Service Integration Office in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is an enterprise-level contract providing IT management, multimedia, and communication services for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform frequent walkdowns of project sites providing project management expertise to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget. Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders. Ensure NASA customers are updated with project status and changes. Create project documentation for consumption at high-level, senior staff meetings. Interface with other contractors during development and integration of project plans and associated requirements documents. Ensure execution of project plans are in accordance with requirements. Work high-visibility and complex projects across multiple disciplines from diverse NASA centers and organizations. Generate cost analysis and white papers as required to ensure stakeholder clarity of project scope and status.
EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS degree and 5 years relevant experience in Information Technology project management.
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
IT Project management experience with mid to large complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Experience with configuration management procedures across a wide variety of disparate assets. Projects will have durations spanning several weeks, months, or years.
Expert time-management skills are needed due to the complexity and quantity of projects.
Must be process oriented and able to adhere to defined procedural guidance.
Must have initiative and ability to drive projects to success and prioritize multiple high-visibility tasks.
Able to tailor technical communications, both verbally and written to audiences possessing a varying degree of IT experience and knowledge.
Must work well both independently and with other project managers and stakeholders from other NASA Programs/Organizations and with contractors from eMITS and other contracts.
Minimum Requirements: Familiarity with PMP and PMBOK. 5 years of experience managing multiple IT-related projects. Very experienced with advanced utilization of various Microsoft applications such as Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box.
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with IT-related projects at Kennedy Space Center. PMP certification. Skilled in Power Automate.
Salary Range: $70K to $80K
