Project Manager PrincipalJob SummaryClient Bank of Minneapolis is seeking a Project Manager to join our DevOps team. This role will focus on in-taking, tracking, reporting on, and refining roadmap items across our DevOps initiatives. You'll work with a group of developers and business systems analysts to improve operations and visibility across a variety of domains: cost optimizations, application performance, CI/CD, security, compliance, and system observability.The Bank believes in flexibility to balance the demands of work and life while also recognizing the necessity of connecting and collaborating with our colleagues in person.Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are expected to be in the office 1 day per week for meetings and team collaboration, unless directed otherwise by your supervisor.This position requires US citizenship or a permanent residency with a minimum of three years.Key/Essential Skills:• Facilitate the intake and refinement of roadmap items for development.• Manage and lead agile ceremonies.• Track the progress of roadmap items to remove blockers and increase transparency across the organization.• Gather and communicate technical requirements to detail-oriented, non-technical stakeholders.• Design and author progress reports for senior executive and key stakeholders.To be considered at the Project Manager Principal level you must meet the following qualifications:• Associate's Degree and 14 years of directly relevant work experience.• Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of directly relevant work experience.• Master's Degree and 10 years of directly relevant work experience.Responsibilities:
Overview of Responsibilities:• Directs, coordinates, and monitors all activities for a variety of large, highly integrated and complex programs or projects related to new products, services, web solutions or automated systems implementation with significant FRS or Bank-wide impact• Consults with all levels of Bank and FRS management, staff and customers on services, products and automation or systems solutions for business problem-solving, conflict resolution and lead decision-making• As needed, provides the translation between the technical automation or systems solution and business line processes• Plans, coordinates, and monitors all stages of project management including initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closure, ensuring compliance with System and industry standards, methodologies, and guidelines• Ensures timely delivery of necessary artifacts throughout project and/or program lifecycle• Develops project agreements or charters based on requirements, risk, and complexity of potential solutions, and creates project plans, integrated schedules accordingly• Ensures all of the project`s technological requirements and objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for implementation• Ensures agreement from project sponsor(s) and stakeholders is received for initial scope and project plans and any changes throughout the project lifecycle• Directs all aspects of the project or program team, with support from management to assign individual responsibilities, tasks, priorities, and technical functions• Identifies the project`s/program's key success indicators and manages the work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints• Manages to successful outcomes through identifying and addressing issues and risks• Serves as a key liaison between project/program team, vendors and Bank and FRS management, and business line users, and plays a primary role in FRS workgroups• Coordinates the implementation, training, and documentation of related procedures• Routinely prepares and delivers written and oral communications, including presentations to Senior Management• Provides consistent and comprehensive project/program status reports, updates, and on-going cost analyses• Evaluates completed projects/programs in comparison to cost/time projections• Serves as project, program, and/or portfolio manager for the coordinated management of multiple projects including summarizing overall status for multiple projects• Effectively manages and coordinates complex, cross-functional teams working toward different, but integrated goals and projects; coordination may include project management and scrum resources• Demonstrates strategic thought direction and leadership in addressing unique or complex situations that impact the related project(s), programs, or portfolios• Monitors developments and best practices in the internal/external business environment, FRS, and regulatory matters• Anticipates potential challenges, including internal and external business challenges and regulatory issues• Advises and recommends appropriate realignments to programs, projects, portfolios, processes, training, resources, products, or services• Provides tactical and strategic options and project or portfolio recommendations as input to applicable project governance groups• Acts as technical subject matter expert with broad knowledge of related disciplines• Plays a primary and influential role in FRS workgroups• Generates timely and appropriate communications, develops, produces and/or delivers organizational and enterprise-level presentations, views, and reports related to project/s and/or programs• Ensures that programs and/or projects conform to standards such as technical, quality, timeliness, and cost, as well as to relevant FRS policy, governance, guidance, and frameworks• Monitors and reports on progress, performance, and status• Manages and motivates Project Managers and Teams to complete valuable projects.• Develop and manage project/program budget• Strategic SWOT Analysis• Program Proposals and Executive Level dashboarding & presentation skills• Provides work direction to less experienced Project Managers• Performs other duties as assignedComments/Special Instructions
