ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
LIVIC Civil is looking to fill a full-time position for a Project Manager within the Land Development Team. The candidate should be flexible and able to adapt to changing activities and workloads. The position will require good interpersonal skills that allow the candidate to effectively collaborate with other team members of varying backgrounds and experiences.
As LIVIC continues to grow, we are always in search of fresh talent, so feel free to reach out even if you don’t quite match the position requirements. As of now, we employ multiple engineers specializing in Land Development, Traffic and Transportation, Municipal and Energy markets. In addition, we have drafting professionals, landscape architects, a utility coordinator, a construction manager, three survey crews and a GIS analyst. We have a diverse staff in terms of work experience and area of expertise. Generally, if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
This position is suited to a self-motivated, professional person who can confidently work with a variety of people from different backgrounds within the Civil Engineering field. Strong communication and organizational skills are important to the success of this position. Ability to be a self-starter with attention to detail and follow through. Enthusiasm to learn and develop with maintaining a positive, solution driven attitude.

Essential job functions include:
- Prepare and review design computations, plan designs, and drawings.
- Prepare project estimates, engineering proposals, budgets, schedules and execution of plans.
- Prepare and review specifications, draft letters, and written technical reports.
- Coordinate with peers and project managers regarding project progress.
- Coordination and review of technical project aspects and submissions
- Coordination with municipalities and/or permit agencies.
- Attends client, municipal and agency meetings.
- Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents as necessary.
- Responsible for overall project QA/QC.
- Supervise, mentor and develop staff and subordinates.
- Responsible for project financial management including invoicing and AR support.

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology, Landscape Architecture or related field of study.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years
- Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D software
- The ability to review, understand and resolve complex design-related issues.
- State, County and Municipal level regulatory experience not necessarily limited to Pennsylvania.
- Experience with bidding and construction phase engineering consulting tasks.
- Accommodate necessary travel needs between offices and to project sites.
- Ability to:
- Manage time effectively; prioritize and handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Work in a team environment as well as independently
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships, interact effectively with others
- Adapt to changing work priorities, understand and follow direction
- Overcome internal and external procedural challenges by offering solutions that will lead to overall operational satisfaction.
- Strong PC Skills i.e. Word, Excel, MS Outlook, Virtual Conferencing
- High standards of confidentiality to handle sensitive information
- Excellent Written and Oral Skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Comprehensive knowledge of the engineering industry.
- Must possess the ability to work independently, and strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to interact professionally with regulatory agencies, clients, subconsultants, vendors and the general public.
